We're getting new solar panels installed soon, replacing the twelve panels previously on our roof. The twelve 250W panels are arranged into three ‘strings’ of 2kW each (Top). Each of these strings produces up to 2kW of electricity each, and inverters turn the DC power into AC. These panels were installed in 2011/2012.
